My car is back! 

No more hail damage!

For the Record - My Favourite Dress Pattern

I have had this pattern for MANY years.

I have had a couple of garments made with this pattern.

Right now, my Temple dress is the long version of this pattern.

I love it!

I am sorting out cupboards and feel it is time for this

and other patterns to go on their way.

One of my friends is a dressmaker, and she might be glad to have my box of patterns.

Saturday Afternoon Drive - Something Country

Ron is here on business.

He joined us for our Saturday before last afternoon drive last week.

We took a drive into the Magaliesburg area

to a lovely place called "Something Country."

We had a good meal sitting out at the garden tables.

This dog was very intent on this hole right next to us...

The whole time we were there he was vigilant. 

Lovely canopy above us.

Good to get away from the city every now and again.

Birthday and Anniversary Celebration

Sunday evening we gathered to celebrate.

Glenn is 67, I am 71, and we have been married 46 years.

Here are Jarom, Cabryn, Cindy and Ron.

Dom was busy with some compassionate service - we missed him.

And here are Vi, Nadia, Daena, Doug with Scarlett,

Ethan and Glenn.

We enjoyed our supper together!

We are having simply glorious weather at the moment.

We will thoroughly enjoy it for as long as it lasts...

Patio Project - Laundry Windows

Glenn has been working on the laundry windows for a while.

These windows will never move... 

 The glass goes in...

Originally the glass was ordered for a job 

one of Glenn's friends had.

When he came to fit the windows he discovered the measurements

had been inaccurate, so because he had ordered 

the right size glass to fit for the job he was busy with,

the previous lot of double-glazed glass was redundant.

Glenn bought the previous glass from him for a very good price.

Glenn has made frames to fit the glass panes he bought. 

Here he is fitting the last pane of glass.

 And today he fitted the handles.

Cindy and I drove in to visit with Les and Sally.

So good to be together for a while!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had our Easter Egg hunt a week later than Easter.

We had Roisin, (Nadia's sister) Erin, Chloe and Seth join us,

and Dom, Cindy and Scarlett.
