The Cupboard is Finished!

The drawers are now done,

and the cupboard is ready for me to move into.

I'd like to add the words "Those who play carelessly with cats must expect to be painfully scratched."

In the home we grew up in we usually had at least one cat.
I learnt soon to stop and not move the minute the cat's claws came out.
The cat would then relax in time, retract her claws and we could carry on a respectful relationship with each other.

I wish I had a picture of a cat... I do not.
Occasionally I wish I still had a cat.
I do not want the responsibility.
So, when I get the opportunity, I enjoy the cats of those I visit.

Tutankhamun's Tomb Exhibition

On our way to the exhibition Dome at Silverstar.

"Clever"  chuckled an onlooker...

"Hurry up, this is heavy" said Jarom with a grin.

Ethan followed suit lifting the board.

I enjoyed the good information boards around the displays.

We each had a listening device in which we could

punch in the number on the display and listen.

I liked that... quiet all around although there was

 a steady stream of people milling around us.

And then we moved to where replica's of the items were displayed

so that we could see them individually.

This is inside the largest of the three (whatever they are called)

Details on the outside tell an elaborate story.

I would so love to have been able to have Hugh Nibley with us.

Inside the smallest of the three was the large gold of these

with the smaller and smaller inside the larger.

Lots and lots of repeated symbols.

We stopped for some family photographs.

These four grow before our eyes!

We had an informative, sensorily rich, and good family experience.

We make our way to the exit past these displays.

I'm glad we went!

I thought it was an excellent display.

It was an excellent Judy-style family excursion too.
