"Cherry and Raisin Munchies" Recipe


 I got this recipe from Brenda (Bray) Holmes - it's decadent and delicious!
I don't know what she originally called it - the name is mine. 
 
We usually make it at Christmas/New Year time.

  
Mix together:

1 pkt Marie biscuits - crush
250g glace cherries  - chop in half
250 g seedless raisins
1/2 cup sugar
 
Lightly melt (not boil...) and blend together:
150g marg/butter
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 egg
 
Pour liquids into dry ingredients.
Mix thoroughly.
Press into swiss roll pan.
Put into fridge.
Cut and serve chilled.
