Bray "Guesthouse"

We got back from Amanzimtoti ten days ago.  Since then we have had first Ron and Pamela for one night, Sam (one of Glenn's ex-colleagues) for one night and now Rohan and Colleen, and Rohan's sister Carina and her husband Ryan here for two nights.

Rohan, Colleen, Ryan and Carina are here for Christine Atkins marrying Ryan and Carina's brother tomorrow in the Temple.  They will be out all day Saturday, and then off again to Cape Town on Sunday.

I have enjoyed the challenge of sorting out comfortable accommodation for our guests.  The curtains in my previous counselling room, where Ryan and Carina are sleeping, have needed some final touch-ups for years.  I took the curtains down weeks ago and thought I'd wash them and pack them away as spare curtains.  With them sleeping there I washed and ironed the curtains, added little pouches to tuck the pull strings into, and hung them up again.  Now they are complete!

I still need to add little pouches for the curtains in the spare room, and they will also be ready for taking down and packing away when we convert that side of the house.

What with two funerals, one baby shower, one baptism and a family braai last weekend and a birthday braai tomorrow, we have been in and out and about!

Glenn also drove down to Durban this last week with Sam.  They left Wednesday and came back Thursday evening late.  Friday Glenn and Sam went to the Lion and Rhino with Jenny Cook.

We have been busy!

Time to settle down to a more manageable pace - we hope.  These are the latter days.  There is much to do.
