"Ginger Drops" Recipe

 Blessed Christmas Everyone!
 
 


CREAM TOGETHER (1)
175g margerine 
175g butter
2 c white sugar
 
ADD TO (1) AND MIX THOROUGHLY
4 T raw molasses or treacle
2 eggs  
BLEND TOGETHER (2)
3 c flour
2 t bicarbonate of soda
2 t ground cinnamon
1 t ground cloves
2 T ground ginger 
Mix (1) and (2) together 
Drop by spoonsful onto ungreased baking sheet.   Allow for spreading.
Bake 180 - 200C for 10 – 12 minutes. 
Cool slightly before carefully removing carefully from baking sheet onto cooling rack. 
This mixture makes about 5 dozen.
